TextureBuilder
Can gather image data from a number of tracked frames to create an accurate texture of an object. It can help you with modifying object texture (e.g. cleanup or digital makeup), or for creating of clean-plates for example.
To create a texture connect bg input to a sequence, connect a camera and a model positioned in multiple frames. After that specify the frames that TextureBuilder should use to gather texture data.

TextureBuilder Tab
| Name | Label | Description | |||||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
texture_format |
texture format | Format of the texture created by TextureBuilder | |||||||||||||||||||||
input_frames |
frames | Frames to take texture data from. Syntax matches Nuke Frame
Ranges.
(maximum frame count is %s) |
|||||||||||||||||||||
auto_input_frames |
Autodetect | Fill ‘input frames’ with keyframes of a connected KeenTools node | |||||||||||||||||||||
relative_input_frames |
relative to the current frame | Evaluate the frame numbers relative to current keyframe | |||||||||||||||||||||
back_face_culling |
back-face culling | Don’t render back-faced polygons in 2D viewer | |||||||||||||||||||||
stretching_suppression |
stretching suppression | Choose how much a polygon view angle affects pixel color. With 0 you get an average color from all frames where a pixel is visible. With 100 you get pixels only from the frames where a camera is looking at a polygon at 90 degrees. Values between 10 and 20 often give optimal results. | |||||||||||||||||||||
expand_edges |
expand edges | Expand texture edges using the color of the edging pixel. The value determines the expantion in percents of the output format height. | |||||||||||||||||||||
equalize_brightness |
equalize brightness | Experimental. Tries to level brightness between different frames so the texture would appear evenly lit. | |||||||||||||||||||||
equalize_colour |
equalize colour | Experimental. Tries to match colors between different frames so the texture would appear evenly colored. | |||||||||||||||||||||
fill_face_texture |
fill face texture | Experimental. Tries automatically fill holes with appropriate colour. Works only with some versions of FaceBuilder produced geometries. |
